It’s always exciting when Vice & Virtue Brewing Co unveils a new creation, but this one has a bit of a special meaning behind it.

It’s an Australian Sparkling Ale called ‘The Young & Free’ and it’s now available with Australia Day right on the horizon.

"This light, bright, and punchy Australian Sparkling Ale is made entirely with Australian Enigma & Vic Secret hops,” says a post on the Vice & Virtue Facebook page.

“This beer has big aromas of pineapple, pine, white wine and passion fruit. Bone dry, and with bright, sparkling carbonation.”

Not only will the beer celebrate the national day of Vice and Virtue’s GM Matt Jewell and Chef Nelson Daniels, it’ll raise money for the ongoing firefighting efforts in their homeland.

For every four pack and 16-ounce glass sold at the brewery, $2 will be donated to Country Fire Authority.

The brewery is also encouraging people to donate extra cash at the brewery and if you do, you’ll be entered to win a bunch of great prizes.

Last but not least, the fantastic label art for the Australian Sparkling Ale cans was designed by Steph Mosley.
