They haven’t been around for very long, but White Claw Hard Seltzers have had an almost ridiculous rise to fame.

It was introduced in 2016, but a cult-like increase in popularity, especially among college kids, saw the brands sales grow 275% between 2018 and 2019.

Since then, many Canadians have been wondering when the popular beverage might become available north of the 49th parallel and we finally got our answer a couple weeks ago.

With the days getting longer and the warmer temperatures right around the corner, White Claw's arrival in Canada is imminent.

The popular drink will arrive in Canada on Sunday, but that doesn’t necessarily mean your local liquor store will have them on day one.

"Exact flavours, formats and release date varies by province,” says the website. “Check in with your local liquor store on exact availability.”

Currently, White Claw comes in six flavours, which are mango, black cherry, natural lime, raspberry, ruby grapefruit and pure hard seltzer (unflavoured).

In the United States, the brand will be adding lemon, tangerine and watermelon flavours this year.
