Guess what you’re doing for lunch or dinner tonight?

It is Pirate Pak Day at 62 White Spot locations throughout British Columbia, as well as the restaurant’s three Alberta locations.

The annual tradition has raised more than $660,000 since its inception, sending more than 400 kids with life-threatening illnesses or chronic disabilities to summer camp.

“Pirate Pak Day is a big fundraising event for us, one that both our guests and staff look forward to every year,” says White Spot President Warren Erhart.

“Money raised on this special day helps young mateys facing difficult challenges, and wouldn’t be possible without the participation of our valued guests.”

For today only, a special adult Pirate Pak menu will be available for both dine-in and take-out, with White Spot donating $2 from the sale of each one to Zajac Ranch for Children.

The following burgers, sandwiches and more are available in Pirate Pak form.

“Each year, we are grateful for White Spot’s Pirate Pak Day fundraiser, which helps provide life-changing summer camp experiences for children in B.C. and across Canada,” said Mel Zajac, founder of Zajac Ranch for Children.

“I encourage everyone to enjoy a Pirate Pak (today), so that as many deserving kids as possible can experience summer camp!”

Each Pirate Pak meal will come in the nostalgic paper boat with a side of fries, cream coleslaw, a soft drink, ice cream and, of course, the treasured chocolate ‘gold’ coin.
