Every single cent paid for a large Slurpee at 7-Eleven today goes to a great cause.

It all goes towards supporting local food banks across Canada, where every dollar donated provides three meals.

To encourage people to come down and help support the cause, plus treat themselves to a bit of a sugar rush, 7-Eleven Canada has made it ‘Name Your Price Day’.

Today only, customers across the country are encouraged to pay whatever they want for a Slurpee, as long as it’s more than 10 cents.

If you only have a dime that you found under the passenger’s seat in your car, you can use it to buy a Slurpee.

If you have $20 in your wallet that you want to go towards your local food banks, providing meals to 60 people in need, you can use it to buy a Slurpee.

So even though the 30°C days of summer are gone, head to your local 7-Eleven today and treat yourself to a tasty Slurpee, all for a great cause!
