Table service includes setting tables, lighting candles, placing wine on the table as well as water service and setting up dessert and coffee stations. This service is for events including canape receptions, plated dinners, buffets or family style dinners. To ensure that every event meets the expectation of professional, responsible and organized service, Okanagan Servers has a guideline for guest to server ratio that has been tried, tested and true to be successful.
The Bar Service includes setup, clean up and everything in between. Okanagan Servers will make sure you and your guests have the perfect pour with the appropriate ingredients every time, including signature cocktails! And with level two WSET sommelier training under their belts, they can also advise on the best wine, craft beer and cider choices to get the party started.
Through Okanagan Servers, you can hire just wait or bar staff for your next event, or hire both to leave all the hospitality to the experts.
How does the whole planning process look? Zuzana and her team always like to cover the details, guest numbers, venue and location to determine how many staff will be needed for that particular event.
Lehocky says, “If I am not familiar with the venue I usually do a site tour to eliminate any unwanted surprises. More complicated events will always require more staff. We pride ourselves when it comes to providing 5-star service, so we are quite firm with our clients when it comes to ensuring we have enough staff to make an occasion or event run seamlessly.”
