Body of Missing Kamloops Woman Discovered

The body of a missing Kamloops woman was found in a wooded area Tuesday morning.

Kamloops RCMP have confirmed Kamloops Search and Rescue discovered missing 47-year-old Lyla Brace near Juniper Ridge at approximately 10:20 a.m.

Foul play is not suspected.

Brace was reported missing Sunday evening and Kamloops RCMP issued a public alert on Monday.

RCMP have turned the investigation over to the BC Coroners Service.
