2-year-old identified in fatal incident near Kamloops

The BC Coroners Services has identified the child who died after being struck by a vehicle near Kamloops.

Jesse Derek Willer, two, of Kamloops, died on a private property about 40 kilometres north of Kamloops on April 16.

Shortly after 5 p.m. Willer was struck by a vehicle backing up on a private property. He was deceased at the scene.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.
