Tips lead to arrest of Kamloops stabbing suspect

A 19-year-old Kamloops man has been identified and arrested following a serious stabbing incident early Wednesday morning.

Just before 2 a.m., Kamloops RCMP received a report of a stabbing after a cab driver was critically injured while driving a fare. The suspect fled the scene while the driver was rushed to the hospital.

Police received photos of the suspect with the hopes that the public could help identify him.

Thanks to the public’s help, the man was identified and arrested. Hee is being held in custody and facing several charges. The Kamloops RCMP would like to thank the public for their help to quickly identify the accused.
