City of Kamloops encourages residents to bike to work next week

The City of Kamloops is urging residents to park their cars and grabs their bikes during the upcoming GoByBike weeks.

From Monday until November 3rd, residents are encouraged to stay active. This event is building off the momentum of the popular springtime Bike to Work Week.

In recognition of the event, the City of Kamloops will be reimbursing individuals for the costs of any City programs or activities, including drop-in pickleball, co-ed volleyball, dance classes, guitar lessons, and art programs. A full list of activities offered by the City can be found here.

By taking part in GoByBike Weeks, registered Kamloops riders will have the chance to win a Trek Marlin 5 mountain bike from Spoke N' Motion. In addition to that, participants across BC will have the chance to win a trip for two to the Baltics.
