A man was arrested in Kamloops on Sunday after stabbing someone during a robbery.
Kamloops RCMP said the man approached a group of people who were standing around the 1800 block of Rogers Place at about 10:50 pm.
He demanded money before stabbing one of the people in the group, police said.
Mounties, when called, rushed to the area and established a perimeter.
The suspect was soon found and, despite refusing to cooperate with police, was arrested without incident.
The stabbing victim was taken to a medical facility and treated for a non-life-threatening injury.
Police added that the case is now with the BC Prosecution Service.
