The Kamloops RCMP said the 24-year-old is "safe and sound."

(Original story: Oct. 3 @ 2:35 pm) - Police are turning to the public for assistance in locating a missing Vernon woman who was in Kamloops over the weekend.

Tristen Philip, 24, was last seen at a business in the 300 block of Victoria Street around 12:45 am Sunday morning. 

She has had no known communication with her family or friends since.

“Her family, friends and the Kamloops RCMP detachment are concerned for her well-being and are hoping that Tristen, or someone who has information on where she might be, will contact police as soon as possible,” explained Cpl. Crystal Evelyn.

Police provided the following description of Philip:


She was last seen wearing black pants, a blue flower-patterned blouse and black wedge shoes with a black purse. Police noted that she may have had a denim jacket as well.

Anyone with information on Philip’s whereabouts, or relevant dash cam or surveillance footage that could help track her down, is urged to contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000.
