Five Kelowna Businesses Finalists For BC Small Business Awards

The finalists for the BC Small Business Awards Competition have been announced and five Kelowna businesses have landed on the list.

The list of the top five finalists have moved on from the previous list of top 10 announced back in December. This year was the biggest year yet in the 12th annual awards with more than 460 nominations received from over 70 communities in the province. The businesses have been narrowed down by the judges and are in 10 different categories; Premier’s People’s Choice; Best Community Impact; Best Company; Best Concept; Best Emerging Entrepreneur; Best Employer; Best Immigrant Employer; Best International Trade; Best Online Marketer; and Best Workplace.

The finalists will now present a 10 minute business pitch to a panel of experts and successful entrepreneurs, who will decide the winners of this year’s awards. The winners will be announced on February 26th, 2015 at the Small Business BC Awards Ceremony in Vancouver.
