If you're a student getting ready to graduate or simply someone who's looking to find work, you're going to want to check out this job fair.

Okanagan College's 8th Annual Business Expo and Employment Fair will have more than 55 Okanagan businesses participating, with many of these businesses looking for new employees. This fair will let students and community members speak and network with potential employers about career opportunities.

Even though the fair is taking place in Kelowna, regional and national companies will be looking to fill positions throughout Canada. “There are three national banks recruiting at this event as well as a number of multinational organizations and we want to let people know that are opportunities for people across the region,” says organizer Jamie Morrow.

“By bringing industry experts together with those seeking jobs and careers we are able to offer a direct line of communication and networking for job seekers,” Morrow says. “This fair is focused on providing people with career options and valuable information to help them find the job they want.”

There will be a number of companies on site with information booths. Some of the participating employers include Pattison Sign Group, Natural Factors, Justice Institute of British Columbia, City of Kelowna, Tolko Industries LTD, Valley First Credit Union, and Schlumberger.

The event will be held at Okanagan College's Kelowna campus in the atrium of the Centre for Learning Building from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, February 4th.
