A photographer managed to capture a gorgeous sight on Saturday night in the Okanagan.

Ken Reid of Greystoke Photography was on his way home from a Warriors game when he caught a glimpse of the Northern Lights over the lake. This dazzling view was one of many across most of Canada over the weekend, with the aurora borealis spreading across northern skies.

The Weather Network warned that the display over the weekend wouldn't be a large flare, saying residents would have to pay close attention if they wanted to see it. The aurora's clearly visible in Reid's photos, however, showing an absolutely stunning view reflected in the still waters of Okanagan Lake. The greens, purples, and blues contrast against the bright lights of downtown, and Reid captured some gorgeous startrails as well.

The Weather Network said that the lights will be visible until Tuesday in clear skies, so keep a sharp lookout to the heavens.
