Target Canada has announced the dates for the closure of more stores across the country, and the Vernon location is set to close this month.

The liquidation continues at the American retail store as it makes its exit from Canada. The Vernon location is set to shut its doors on March 30th, while the Kelowna location will officially close on April 2nd, 2015. On Monday, the bankrupt company announced that 16 stores would be closed across Canada by next week, and on Tuesday that liquidation process continued with the announcement of 32 more closures.

Currently the stores are running massive liquidation sales with discounts between 40 and 60 per cent, although many store shelves are already bare. All Canadian operations are expected to be shut down by mid-May, leaving around 17,600 employees out of work.
