UBCO Students to Showcase Art

A new exhibition will be on display at UBC Okanagan which will showcase work from fourth year students majoring in visual arts.

Shelf Life, is an exhibition of bachelor of fine arts graduates whose art practices are greatly diverse.  The 28 students will showcase works ranging from 2D to 3D, digital to handmade, and abstract to representational.

The first and second floors of the Creative and Critical Studies building, 1148 Research Rd., UBC Okanagan, will be transformed into exhibition space, with the show open to the public from Tuesday, April 21st to Sunday, April 26th between 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with extended hours on Thursday, April 23rd, and Friday, April 24th until 8:00 p.m.

The exhibition gala and reception is free to attend and will take place on Saturday, April 25th from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. and will include live entertainment, refreshments, appetizers and awards.
