Although we’ve been lucky with the warm weather here in Kelowna, other areas of the Okanagan are still experiencing slushy and wet conditions.
If you’re driving on the Okanagan Connector or the Coquihalla on Thursday, take it easy, as Environment Canada is calling for flurries and showers.

Flurries are expected to begin Thursday afternoon on the Connector from Merritt to Kelowna with showers ending near midnight then clouding over.
Meanwhile on the Coquihalla, showers are expected to begin Thursday afternoon from Hope to Merritt, as well as from Merritt to Kamloops. Once again, showers will most likely end around midnight followed by thick cloud coverage.
If you’re travelling southwest via the Allison Pass, you can also expect showers beginning in the afternoon.
The Kootenay Pass on Highway Three, along with the TransCanada Highway from Eagle Pass to Rogers Pass, will see flurries beginning late into the evening on Thursday.
