Kelowna Hotel General Manager Receives National Award

A Kelowna hotel general manager has been recognized for his outstanding work and honoured with a national award.

Four Points by Sheraton General Manager Thom Killingsworth has received the 2014 Canada Region General Manager of the Year award. Since the hotel opened on June 26th, 2013 there have been numerous memorable events, including receiving a number one ranking on TripAdvisor, having Prime Minister Stephen Harper stay at the hotel, and more.

Killingsworth played an integral part of the planning and implementation of the hotel project prior to its opening. Don Lougheed, Director of Starwood Bran Operations Worldwide, presented Killingsworth with the award in the category of Select Service Brands.
