A number of realtors have given a generous donation to help end the cycle of domestic violence in Kelowna.

In the last year, Royal LePage Kelowna realtors have donated part of their commissions to the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation Fund and held fundraising events. As a result, the group raised more than $11,200 to help the women and children served by the Kelowna Women’s Shelter every year.

The Kelowna shelter gives food, shelter, counselling, support services and preventative education to women and children experiencing domestic abuse. The shelter’s Inside/Out Violence Prevention for Youth program helps youth to identify and address issues and challenges, encouraging respectful relationships and healthy lifestyle choices.
