People walking in downtown Kelowna saw an unusual sight on Sunday: bubbles.

It looks like somebody pulled a prank at the Sails on Bernard, filling the fountain with foamy, fun-to-play-with bubbles. Passersby were playing with the foam, tossing it, grabbing armfuls, and blowing it into the sky. Many took photos of the unusual sight, while kids grabbed chunks and tried to see how long they’d last.

Though the bubbles certainly brightened up a grey Sunday for many, it doesn’t look it will be as fun to clean up…
