Residents are invited to an upcoming information session to view the design and construction timelines for the new downtown Memorial Parkade.

The session will include information about traffic management downtown and City of Kelowna staff will be on hand to speak about the project. Changes to short-term parking and monthly parking pass holders will be announced at the open house for those who have passes for the current Memorial surface lot and Library Parkade.

The new parkade will include 566 stalls plus office space. Construction is scheduled to begin in the fall of 2015 with completion anticipated by fall 2016. The session will take place on Thursday, May 28th from 3:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on the lawn at City Hall.
