Patio season is upon us in Kelowna and the rest of the Central Okanagan, and thanks to the completed revitalization of downtown there are plenty of new places to take advantage of.

So far this year a total of 59 patios have sprung up along the streets of downtown, offering wonderful food and people watching opportunities. There are plenty of new and old spaces to check out from Water Street to Sunset Drive and St. Paul Street.

New patios worth checking out include Antico Pizza Napoletana, Central, FSH, Rivals, and Pilgrim and Pearl Oyster Bar. Old favourites are still available at locations such as Doc Willoughby’s Pub, Earls on Top, Rose’s Pub, and more.

There are also several outdoor patios under construction downtown that will hopefully be ready for the hot summer weather. Micro Bar Bites is currently building a patio on the street front, as is BNA Brewing Co., and the new Cactus Club Café in the Kelowna Yacht Club.

Wings Tap and Grill will take over the old Rick’s location along Water Street, and once open, they will also feature a new patio for downtown. The full list of downtown patios available this summer is as follows, courtesy Downtown Kelowna:
