Kick off a summer of fun with a free community event in Rutland.
The YMCA is holding their 10th annual Healthy Kids Day on Sunday, June 7th from 12-4 p.m. This free community event includes interactive games and crafts, a nutritious barbecue, live entertainment, giant inflatables, prizes, and more. You get to enjoy the outdoors with your family in an active, festival-like setting. The day will include over 50 activities for family to enjoy, as well as some healthy snacks.

“Each year, in over 1000 communities across North America, YMCA Healthy Kids Day connects thousands of people over a common goal—creating a healthier future for our kids,” says Sharon Peterson, YMCA of Okanagan CEO. “We want to inspire children to bring play back into their lives. This event places special emphasis on holistic health, giving children, youth and parents the resources to live healthy every day.”
This annual event is going on both inside and outside of the Kelowna Family Y on Hartman Road.
