The sidewalk along Water Street is just about finished and is scheduled to open on June 30th. The lawn has also been planted, but it will remain fenced off for a couple weeks to allow the grass to establish. Sidewalks and pedestrian spaces will be open, but the public is asked to stay clear of the fenced-off grass area.

The two planting beds are expected to boast fresh shrubs in early July, while the fire pit installation is scheduled for implementation in the fall of 2015.

Construction of a semi-circular curb, gutter, and sidewalk on the west side of Water and Doyle streets is scheduled to also begin this fall. This project is expected to match the alignment of a planned future roundabout at the above mentioned intersection.
