Early Morning Accident Slows Down Motorists in Kelowna

An accident along Highway 97 in Kelowna has forced a lane closure as crews clean up the mess.

According to DriveBC, an accident occurred around 5:23 a.m. three kilometres north of Highway 33 in the northbound lane.  The incident is located just south of Reid’s Corner and there is no word as to how many vehicles have been involved or extent of injuries.

The estimated time of re-opening is 6:00 a.m. and the accident may not have an impact on morning rush hour traffic.
