This week, KelownaNow's Lauren Hjalmarson filmed her weekend events update from Festivals Kelowna's newest community event: Arts on the Avenue! This celebration is currently taking place on the 300 block of Bernard in downtown Kelowna, and it will run until 10pm on Thursday, July 30th. View the video for the rest of the details on the festival as well as several suggestions of events and day trips that will make this an August long weekend to remember.
*Note that Team Canada is presenting their fireworks display at the Celebration of Light in Vancouver on Saturday, August 1st.
