The installation of water and sewer mains for Kelowna's McKinley Beach development is going to result in lane closures on McKinley Road between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. from Monday, August 24th, to Saturday, August 29th.

Alternating traffic will be in effect, and motorists should expect 10- to 15-minute delays between 9 a.m. and 10 p.m.

Drivers are strongly encouraged to give themselves extra time. Construction crews and traffic personnel will make every effort to minimize delays for residents.

Early September should see the completion of the paving on McKinley Road.

The work on Glenmore Road North is expected to be finished by November.

Motorists are requested to respect all signage and the directions that may be given to them by construction workers and traffic safety personnel.

The patience of travellers and residents is appreciated.
