SmOkanagan Makes for Lousy Breathing but Interesting Photos

Heavy smoke from fires burning to the south of Kelowna have made for very limited visibility and very poor air quality.  You can read more about the air quality advisory by clicking here.

The amount of smoke in the valley right now is very reminiscent of the Okanagan fire of 2003 and is sure to bring back memories for those who were here at that time. 

Many in the Okanagan did not let the smoke dampen their spirit though, the Apple Triathlon went on with very few athletes dropping out. You can read more about the event here.
