The aquatic area at Kelowna's Parkinson Recreation Centre will be closed between August 31st and September 19th for annual maintenance.

This closure will impact the entire aquatic area, including the main pool, whirlpool, steam room, and the children’s play pool.

Pass holders have two options with regards to the closure. They are encouraged to continue their regular water-based activities at the H20 Adventure + Fitness Centre, but if they prefer they can have a time extension added to their Rec Centre pass, instead.

Pass holders who select H20 Centre access must pre-register at the Rec Centre.

The gymnasium at the Rec Centre will also be closed for maintenance during this time period, and will reopen with the aquatic area on September 20th.

These closures are necessary to ensure the health and safety of the general public. The City of Kelowna appreciates facility users’ patience.
