A Kelowna McDonald’s manager has been recognized for her outstanding work with a national award.

Laura Belinski is the manager at the Glenmore and Kane Road restaurant and has received the 2015 Outstanding Manager of the Year Award from McDonald’s Canada. Belinski has been a McDonald’s manager for three years and is being recognized for her significant contribution to building sales, guest satisfaction, staff training and development, local marketing, and restaurant operations.

“I’m honoured to receive this award,” said Belinski. “At McDonald’s we put our guests first, and I’m thankful to be recognized for the dedication my team puts into the customer experience. I love my job at McDonald’s and I am proud to be called a manager of the year.”

Belinski started as a cook at the Water Street McDonald’s over 15 years ago, and has worked her way up to leading an incredible team in an award-winning restaurant. Under her direction, the Glenmore and Kane McDonald’s has won the quarterly McDonald’s Outstanding Restaurant award numerous times in the last two years.

The Outstanding Manager of the Year Award is one of McDonald’s Canada’s top honours and is presented to select restaurant managers across the country for consistent, outstanding performance.
