Update: Harper will be joined in Kamloops on Monday by the Conservative candidate for Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo, Cathy McLeod. They will appear at Horizon North at 540 Athabasca Street West in Kamloops, BC, at 9 a.m.

Stephen Harper and his wife Laureen visited Kelowna on their way to Penticton Sunday afternoon.

The Conservative Party leader, his team, and his partner touched down at the Kelowna International Airport at about 2:20 p.m. for a photo opportunity. Canada's 22nd Prime Minister and his wife waved to media as they crossed the Tarmac between their plane from Ontario and the bus that would take them to Penticton.

Harper is visiting Penticton Sunday evening where he will deliver a speech about his party's plan for the Canadian economy. Then, on Monday, he will be visiting Kamloops, where Conservative Party representative Michelle Keller-Hobson has indicated that he will answer questions from the media.
