Heavy Snow for the Coquihalla Highway and the Okanagan Connector

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the Coquihalla Highway, where heavy snow is expected.

Snowfall amounts of 20 to 40 cm is expected on November 14th to Sunday, November 15th on higher sections of the Coquihalla Highway and the Okanagan Connector as well as Highway 3 near Allison Pass.

Over the past 12 hours 9 cm of snow fell on the Coquihalla Summit.

The special weather statements are for:

Coquihalla Highway - Hope to Merritt

Coquihalla Highway - Merritt to Kamloops

Okanagan Connector - Merritt to Kelowna
