Kelowna Senior Succumbs to Injuries after Being Struck by Vehicle

A Kelowna senior has died after she was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of KLO Road and Richter Street.

On November 24th at around 11:20 a.m. an 83-year-old Kelowna woman was struck by a westbound vehicle on KLO Road. The driver, a 72-year-old Kelowna resident, was attempting a left turn onto Richter Street and did not see the woman in the crosswalk.

The elderly woman was knocked to the ground and received serious injured. She was taken to Kelowna General Hospital, but succumbed to her injuries. RCMP continues to investigate the collision and is looking for witnesses that have not yet spoken to police.
