Lost Snowboarder Found Near Big White Ski Resort

A lost snowboarder has been found thanks to search and rescue workers.

On Saturday, November 28th the Central Okanagan Search and Rescue asked for help from Penticton & District Search & Rescue to find a missing snowboarder near Big White Ski Resort.

After an extensive search in below zero weather the snowboarder was rescued. When located the snowboarder was not wearing proper winter attire for overnight. 

Penticton & District Search & Rescue posted on Facebook saying “Good Outcome, great SAR teams to work with.”
