A man in Kelowna was caught masturbating in public Tuesday morning.
Kelowna RCMP received a call around 6:38 a.m., about a man exposing himself on the north east corner of Sutherland Avenue and Ritcher Street.
One person was walking on Sutherland Avenue when they heard a woman who was walking in the opposite direction scream and run across the road.
The woman said that there was a man in the bushes and he was masturbating. The witness who was with the woman saw the man run from the bushes while he was pulling up his pants. The masturbator eventually got into an older red Honda, which Cpl. Joe Duncan with the Kelowna RCMP said could either be an Accord or Prelude.
The car then drove off on Sutherland Avenue towards Ethel Street.
The masturbating man is described as over 6 feet tall, darker skin, and had a moustache with a scruffy beard. He was wearing light green pants and a winter jacket.
Police are hoping to speak with the unknown woman about what she saw on Tuesday morning.
