Actors Studio Kelowna is heading in to their 14th dramatic season.
At Wednesday’s opening night showing of All Shook Up, they announced their next set of upcoming shows.
Starting on October 12th, and going until Halloween, they’ll kick off their version of ‘Rocky Horror Show’, with special Halloween and Saturday late-night shows.
Because this famous story features adult themes, it isn’t recommended for children.
Heading in to the Christmas season, the group will be performing A Christmas Story, the musical, from November 30th to December 18th.
Next February will be a special, and highly requested show: Chicago. The musical will run from February 8th to the 26th. This one is also recommended for adults only.
Spring 2017 will feature Anne of Green Gables from April 19th to May 7th, followed by The Great Gatsby from May 31 to June 17, 2017.
Next up, for the summer, will be The Glass Menagerie from July 28th to August 6th, 2017, a more serious performance.
Lastly, they announced the musical, Billy Elliot, which will be playing from July 27th to August 5th, 2017.
This show will be presented at the Kelowna Community Theatre, without a dinner theatre option.
Yearly subscriptions include seven shows.
