Cycling in the city: Kelowna bikers share where they ride

Warmer temperatures have hit the Okanagan, which means residents are hopping on their bikes to get from point A to point B.

Recently, KelownaNow reported that not all cyclists are following the rules of the road. Biking on the sidewalks is illegal in Kelowna and cyclists who are caught could be fined $109.

KelownaNow wanted to find out why cyclists in the city are biking where they do.

In addition to getting a fine for riding on the sidewalks, Kelowna RCMP said cyclists could also get fines for a number of other issues.
