The beautiful city of Kelowna has made it on another list of “most beautiful destinations,” this time with Expedia.

The travel website recently announced the 35 most beautiful destinations and Kelowna, of course, was in the top 15.

While the seaside city of Lunenburg, N.S., took home the top spot, Kelowna was lucky number 13.

Kelowna was chosen by Expedia because of the views and the wine.

“Rows of vineyard grapes give way to crystal blue water. Overhead, a purple sunset whispers across the sky. No, that’s not from the back of a romance novel. That’s just what it looks like in Kelowna.”

Kelowna wasn’t the only city in the Okanagan Valley to be named, though.

Peachland took home number 31 and if you’ve ever visited Peachland, you know exactly why the small town was chosen.

“Imagine sitting on the end of a dock, your toes dangling in the water, the faint sound of leaves in the wind in the distance. Combine your fantasy with breathtaking mountain views and easy access to hundreds of wineries and breweries—and you’re practically in Peachland already.”

The list was created to let the smaller cities shine because cities like Vancouver and Calgary always gets the attention.
