Downtown Kelowna Block Party video goes viral on U.K. website

A video from the Downtown Block Party in Kelowna has been picked up on a popular UK website and shared around the world.

In the video from Saturday, a young woman is walking down Bernard Avenue while a male records her with muffled laughs. The girl runs up to a person sitting in a dunk tank and pushes the button, causing him to fall into the water. She then runs off while the man videotaping laughs.

The video was uploaded to Unilad on Sunday and has been viewed more than 4.5 million times. The video has since gone viral with more than 17,000 shares and 10,000 comments.

The Downtown Block Party took place along Bernard Avenue on Saturday and despite cloudy conditions, thousands of people came out for an afternoon of family fun.
