RCMP officers are looking for a man caught on surveillance video acting suspiciously at the Kelowna General Hospital.

On July 23, at about 6:30 a.m., a Kelowna RCMP officer was called after the man entered at least two separate hospital rooms, each with female patients in them. When confronted by the women inside the rooms, the man acted confused and left.

He was seen walking the hospital hallway wearing a navy blue shirt and blue jeans, provided fake names to hospital security guards and lied about being lost.

RCMP have released one image from the hospital’s video surveillance system in hopes of identifying the man, who is described as Caucasian, about five foot six, 150 pounds, with brown hair, a shaved head and facial stubble.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300.
