Kelowna RCMP has taped off several homes on Hein Road in the Rutland area as they investigate an incident.

Officers are currently on scene speaking to neighbours and police dogs were initially called in but have since been released.

Officers are currently concentrating efforts on a fourplex and according to neighbours, a man has been killed. That has not yet been confirmed by police.
