Duke and Duchess to stop in Kelowna on Royal Tour

We now know where the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will stop on their royal visit of British Columbia and the tour includes a stop in Kelowna.

The tour schedule has been released with William and Kate making a stop in Kelowna on Sept. 27, 2016. The royals will begin their B.C. visit on Sept. 24 in Victoria before heading to Vancouver, Bella Bella and then the Okanagan. The couple will then head to Whitehorse and Yukon before heading back to Victoria on Sept. 29.

The couple will also make a stop at Haida Gwaii before wrapping up their visit on Oct. 1. The couple will visit a total of seven communities during their eight-day tour but it is unclear if their children will be joining them.

The government is expected to release further details including opportunities for the public to capture of a glimpse of the royals.
