Police in Kelowna are hoping someone can identify this man who is a person of interest in a number of thefts.

A man called RCMP on Aug. 10, to report that someone had broken into a secure locker compound in the Waterscapes building on Sunset Drive. The thieves also broke into numerous other lockers and cars.

Video footage showed that the thefts took place on Aug. 8, at 4:55 a.m. and were committed by two Caucasian men.

“The man’s stolen green Niner RIP bike was recovered a few days later, but the thieves also took bike helmets, a camp pack and tools,” the Central Okanagan Crime Stoppers said.

Another theft at the same building was interrupted by a resident. The thief was scared off and left behind a partially dismantled bike, bolt cutters and bear spray.

RCMP would like to know if anyone knows who this man is.
