WorkBC Employment Services and Orchard Park Shopping Centre are teaming up for a massive hiring opportunity Oct. 27.

Taking place in the Sky Court in the centre of Orchard Park, employers will be set up between 12 and 8 p.m. for spot interviews to fill the many positions that are currently available.

WorkBC Employment Service Representatives will be there to help job seekers by going through their application forms, checking over resumes and asking them mock questions in preparation.

There will be a large selection of retail, merchandising, guest service and security positions available, with some season opportunities over the holiday season.

“We are pleased to be partnering with WorkBC on this initiative to help members of our local community find employment.” said Orchard Park GM Donna Markin. “There are many opportunities available for people of all ages and skill levels, and assisting our merchants in being well prepared with great staff for the busy holiday season is something that we see as a win-win for all involved.”

Those looking for jobs can prepare for the event by visiting one of the WorkBC Service Centres to edit their resume.

A list of merchants participating at the Job Fair will be available on the Orchard Park Website on Oct. 24.
