More than 250 Kelowna residents gathered on Saturday night to raise money for the Kelowna General Hospital Foundation.

The Innkeeper’s Gala, held at the Hotel Eldorado, was a grand and lavish affair...with a cause.

Live entertainment, food stations, local wine and more, were included in the $200 tickets.

Doug Rankmore, CEO of the KGH Foundation, expressed thanks to the community for the support.

“Kelowna’s got great pride, both in its hospital and in its community and we’re just eternally grateful,” he said.

The over $55,00 raised will go to a youth and family mental health plan, to keep families in need from having to travel far for care.

Stay tuned for an exact total.
