The Kelowna Actors Studio is in the midst of casting for their upcoming performance of Billy Elliot.
The local theatre company is looking for a number of children to audition for some lead and supporting roles, including someone for the title role.
They will be hosting an audition on February 12th, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Auditions will be held at the Kelowna Actors Studio at 1379 Ellis St. and all children auditioning will be required to be at the audition for the entire day.
The play is based on the international smash-hit film with score by music legend Elton John.
Set in England, Billy Elliot is the story of a young boy who discovers a love for ballet, a passion that ends up changing his life forever.
The lead actor will need extensive dance training to fulfill the role.
