Make sure to give yourself some extra time getting to work this morning.

Warmer temperatures have brought slush and freezing rain, causing slippery roads in Kelowna.

If you’re heading west, both Highway 97 and the Okanagan Connector are slushy and slippery, with limited visibility due to dense fog, according to DriveBC.

The temperature in Kelowna is hovering around 0C, but will rise to 6 later in the day, with a chance of flurries.

The possible showers are expected to continued into the weekend, with temperatures in the pluses, hitting 4C on both Saturday and Sunday.
