Kelowna’s own Gerry Austgarden won his fifth B.C. Wheelchair Curling title over the weekend.

Austgarden was joined by 2010 Paralympic champion, Darryl Neighbour, as well as Bob Macdonald and Janice Leung on the winning squad.

Brad Burton coached the team, who won the title at the Richmond Curling Club.

With the BC title under his belt, Austgarden now leads him team to nationals, which take place in Boucherville, Quebec at the end of April.

Austgarden led his team to a national title in Boucherville in 2015.
