Theatre enthusiasts in Kelowna can start getting excited for the Kelowna Actors Studio’s 15th Anniversary Season.

The 2017/18 season is full of romance, laughter, dreams, nostalgia and even a Canadian premiere, according to Artistic Managing Director Randy Leslie.

Throughout the season, they will perform a total of six productions at the Kelowna Actors Studio and the Kelowna Community Theatre.

In the fall, they will start with the Tony award-winning musical Cabaret, which will run from October 11-29th, 2017.

Over the holidays, they’ll be reviving an all-time favourite- and the most requested show ever- White Christmas, from November 29th to December 17th.

In February, you can sit back and enjoy the feel-good musical comedy based on the film, Sister Act.

Based on the Victor Hugo novel, who also penned Les Miserables, The Hunchback of Notre Dame will be shown for the first time ever in Canada from April 11-29th, 2018.

Souvenir will run from May 30th to June 16th, base on the eccentric life of Florence Foster Jenkins, just played by Meryl Streep in the recent movie.

Over the summer, a lesser known love story will take the stage title Love Letters (showing from July 4-21st).

Last but definitely not least, the Kelowna Actors Studio will take on one of the most iconic musicals of all time: Mamma Mia! The upbeat show will be on from August 2-11th.
