Towne Centre Mall on Bernard Avenue has been sold, according to Colliers International.

The mall was built in 1981 and has over 54,365 square feet of leasable space, including more than 25,000 square feet of retail space on the main retail level and over 28,000 square feet of office space on the second floor.

Local shops like MacDermott’s Mens Wear, Ten Fashions Bridal Boutique, Annegrets Chocolates, La Belle Boutique, AMNI Apparel and Molly’s Garden Café are all occupants of the mall.

According to Colliers, the new ownership will be a positive change.

“It’s incredible news. All you’re going to be seeing is improvements on that property,” said VP of investment, Perry Freeman.

For now, the new owner is confidential.
